A Collingwood taxi driver was assaulted on the weekend.
The OPP were called to High Street around 1:30 AM Sunday after a cabbie reported he was assaulted by a customer.
Officers received a description of the suspect and patrolled the area until they found him.
A 47 year old man from Clearview Township has been charged with assault.
The taxi driver suffered only minor injuries and did not require medical attention.
