It only took a couple of hours but Bruce Power employees answered the call.
A site-wide gate collection was held early Tuesday morning and Bruce Power employees donated 85 thousand for the people of Haiti.
That becomes 170 thousand dollars since the company was matching every dollar raised by employees.
The money will be given to the Red Cross for Haitian relief.
