Police have arrested a suspected cattle fraudster in Toronto who they believed was making his rounds in Huron County.
On December 29th, Bayshore Broadcasting News reported that Huron County OPP were on the lookout for the suspected man — who sells cattle to unsuspecting farmers, takes their money and never delivers the cattle.
The OPP’s Rural and Agricultural Crime Team (RACT) arrested the 55-year-old male suspect in Toronto on Wednesday.
The man is wanted by police in Edmonton, Windsor, and Durham Region.
He faces charges with the Windsor Police, Durham Regional Police and the Edmonton Police and will remain in custody until processed in all of those jurisdictions.
