The Bluewater District School Board is moving ahead with plans to overhaul how it deals with complaints from parents and staff.
Vice Chair Jan Johnstone heads an ad hoc committee to look into the matter.
She says they have laid the groundwork which includes seeking membership, administrative support, and legal counsel.
Johnstone says parents want the board to focus on things at the heart of the matter and how decisions relate to other people.
She notes now that they have legal counsel and have looked at how other school boards deal with complaints — the ad hoc committee will meet twice to decide how to proceed.
Johnstone says they plan to get down to business later this month or next month.
