The public will soon have another chance to see the plans for the Owen Sound regional recreation centre.
Councillor Jim McManaman — the Chair of the Recreation Centre Steering Committee — says a public meeting has been scheduled for February 1st.
It will be held at 7 PM at the Harry Lumley Bayshore Community Centre.
It’ll be the second public meeting for the centre.
McManaman says much progress has been made on the plans for the building and previous input from citizens has been instrumental in moving those plans along.
It’s expected that construction will begin soon on the 38 million dollar facility at Victoria Park.
