If you want to get rid of your real Christmas tree in Owen Sound — then today is the day to do it.
Volunteers from the Owen Sound legion will go around the City this afternoon and pick up trees and taken them to the City compost site.
There are designated street corners where the trees should be placed.
But residents must do it this morning even if they have not done so already.
And make sure there are no decorations, lights or tinsel on them.
