The plans continue for the construction of seven new townhouses in Ripley.
Huron Kinloss Council approved a zoning change for the development in the fall despite some concerns from the Bruce County Planning Department.
The County wanted the project deferred until an issue over setbacks were dealt with.
Councillor Jim Hanna says it was a cautious approach by the County — but they were eager to encourage development and see the project proceed.
No word when the townhouses will be complete.
