A couple of local organizations are looking for volunteers.
The Heart and Stroke Foundation’s Owen Sound office is looking for volunteers across Grey Bruce to help them in February — which is Heart Month.
The volunteers will be asked to help with the agency’s annual door to door fundraising campaign.

And the Bluewater Unit of the Canadian Cancer Society is also looking for assistance from Grey Bruce volunteers.
They need help in almost every facet of their organization from driving, and outreach to event organization and office work.
Training is provided whether volunteers can spare an hour, a day or help on a regular basis.
