Four collisions over two days have prompted the Owen Sound Police Service to remind motorists to be more attentive when driving.
Inspector Stephen MacKinnon says the first crash came on Tuesday evening when one driver failed to stop at a stop sign on 19th Street West at 4th Avenue West.
The 45-year-old Owen Sound female driver of the van was charged with Failing to Stop. Two teens were taken to hospital with minor injuries.
The other three collisions, two within approximately 10 minutes of each of other Wednesday afternoon, occurred when the drivers made improper turns into the paths of other motor vehicles.
Inspector MacKinnon says all four collisions could have been avoided.
Although the road surfaces were slushy, MacKinnon says it was the inattentiveness of the drivers that caused all these collisions.
The message he says is to take the time to take a second look, especially with the increased traffic on the roadways for the holiday season.
No one was seriously injured in any of the 4 crashes in Owen Sound.
