Pedestrians won’t be trespassing for much longer along some popular paths in Port Elgin.
The four paths extending from the west end of Catherine Street by the Tourist Camp are on private property.
The four affected landowners have decided to donate parts of their properties to the town in order to keep the pathways open to the public.
The town will cover all of the surveying fees, land transfer taxes, and legal costs associated with the donation.
The total for those is estimated at over 23 thousand dollars.
