A mobility transportation service in Saugeen Shores looks likely — regardless of who is running it.
Councillor Victoria Serda says there are some people who want to start a not for profit group to support whatever plan council decides on the issue.
However, Serda says an external committee decided they should incorporate and start thinking about fundraising.
Serda notes no matter what council ends up deciding, there will still be a need for mobility transit in town.
She says seven people attended the last meeting on the not-for-profit plans, but about 15 in total have been involved over the last few months.
Serda says right now, the group is filing its incorporation papers, and then plans to look at ways of raising money and proceeding over the next year.
