A woman and her daughter escaped with only minor injuries after being hit by a vehicle that mounted a snowbank at Blue Mountain.
Blue Mountains – Collingwood OPP responded to the crash on Jozo Weider Boulevard around 4 PM on Tuesday.
Police say the driver of the vehicle lost control, mounted a snowbank and hit a mother and her daughter who were on the sidewalk.
The 12 year old girl was trapped under the vehicle for some time, while fire crews worked on removing her.
Both woman were treated for minor injuries at Collingwood General and Marine Hospital and released.
Police are still investigating and charges are pending.
