It could be business as usual at the DriveTest Ontario Centres in the New Year.
Bayshore Broadcasting News Reporter Peter Jackson tells us of a reported tentative settlement in the dispute.
Media reports out of Toronto on Saturday suggested the deal had been reached that would put an end to the strike that has lasted for four months.
Clinton DriveTest employee Kathy Doupe recently told Bayshore Broadcasting news that the main issue was job-security and that wages were of secondary importance.
No details of the pact will be made public until a ratification vote is held.
If DriveTest workers approve the deal, offices in Clinton, Chatham and Barrie would resume testing new drivers and those over 80 years of age on January 5th.
