Police are investigating a crash involving a pickup truck and a horse and buggy on Grey Road 3 in Peabody.
Grey County OPP were called to the scene around 1:30 PM Tuesday after learning the horse drawn buggy was rear ended by the pickup.
Police say the female driver of the buggy — who was also the lone occupant — was taken to hospital.
She is listed in serious but stable condition.
Police also report the buggy was destroyed and the horse suffered unknown injuries while the truck driver was not hurt.
The OPP are asking for witnesses to come forward.
It’s also the second crash involving a horse and buggy in the last couple of weeks — the first crash occurred near Flesherton on November 29th.
