Two men are facing charges after what police are calling a serious threatening incident in Meaford.
Grey County OPP say men armed with knives and bats showed up outside a residence on Victoria Street just before 10 o’clock Monday night.
The suspects were threatening the occupant inside the residence but fled before police arrived.
Officers were able to get a description of the suspects and identified a residence where they might have come from.
Police then arrested two males at 2:30 AM after finding them hiding in the attic.
A 23 year old Owen Sound man is charged with assault with a weapon, possession of a weapon for dangerous purpose, and breaching probation.
An 18 year old Meaford man is charged with assault with a weapon and possession of a weapon for dangerous purpose.
