A winter storm warning is in effect.
High winds are blowing around snow mixed with sleet on Wednesday — making a roads a mess.
Bayshore Broadcasting Weather Specialist John Wilson says it’s difficult to say how much snow we’re going to get as this Colorado Low moves through the area.
Today he says the snow will change to rain as the temperature rises to three then falls again tonight with that rain returning to snow fall.
He says the worst of the storm is expected to hit tomorrow with snowsqualls and up to 15 centimetres of accumulation.
Wilson says high winds associated with the system will be blowing that snow around reducing visibility and causing drifting on area highways.
