A graffiti artist is facing charges after leaving his mark all over Meaford.
Grey County OPP say just before 3 AM Sunday an officer on patrol spotted a suspicious person hanging around Georgian Bay Secondary School.
When the suspect was approached he dropped a can of spray paint and the officer found evidence of graffiti nearby.
A search of the man revealed evidence of the purchase of several cans of spray paint – as well as a small quantity of marijuana.
Police then discovered that several spots in the municipality had been tagged with graffiti, including a community mailbox, the canteen at the ballpark, the building at the Blue Dolphin Public Swimming Pool, and a nearby warehouse.
A 25 year old from St. Catharines has been charged with mischief under five thousand dollars and possession of marijuana.
He has a court date in Owen Sound on January 28th.
