The town of Meaford has stepped up to the plate to make sure those in need are kept warm this winter.
The Golden Town Outreach – the town’s foodbank – asked for the community to pull together for donations of coats – hats – gloves – mitts and boots.
The event was called “Lets Keep Each Other Warm”.
Almost 85 coats have been donated – along with numerous winter accessories.
The only thing that is lacking is the pairs of winter boots with only 10 pairs donated.
The drive is now over and the results are being called successful.
Clients that have recieved the donations are thrilled and winter clothing is still available for client who need it.
