Old Saint Nick has a busy day today.
Santa will take part in the annual Durham Santa Claus parade that begins at 12 Noon at the Durham firehall.
Then Santa will be in Kincardine for tonight’s parade where the theme this year is “Let’s Make it a Green Christmas.”
Those involved are being encouraged to reduce – reuse and recycle when it comes to their entries in the parade.
It is put on again by the Chamber of Commerce and starts at 6:30 PM tonight from the Sutton Park Mall and ends at Victoria Park.
There are four other communities holding their Santa Claus Parades tonight too.
The Meaford Santa Claus Parade is at 6:30 PM tonight along Sykes Street.
Wiarton’s Santa Claus Parade starts at 7 PM along Burford Street – right after, Santa will hand out candy and meet with kids at Pinkerton’s.
The Tara Santa Claus Parade is at 7 PM.
The parade in Hanover – is put on by the Kinsmen once again, and it runs down 10th Street starting at 7 PM.
There is also a parade tomorrow — it’s in Neustadt at 4:30 PM — and starts at the arena and runs along Queen Street.
