Grey County’s next Warden will be chosen tonight.
There are two County Councillors who have declared their intentions to run for the Warden’s job.
Owen Sound Councillor Arlene Wright is up against Southgate Deputy Mayor Brian Milne.
Wright believes she has the experience as a two term City Councillor and 16 years on her resume as a member of the Grey County School Board.
Milne — who operates a 300 acre farm with his father — says the Warden’s job is a full time commitment, but he feels he has the time.
It’s still possible that further candidates could be nominated.
The new Warden will be elected tonight in the Grey County Council Chambers.
