Starting today — anyone six months of age and older can get a seasonal flu shot.
Until now, it’s only been offered to those 65 and up.
There are many clinics taking place this week and next in our region to get both the seasonal and H1N1 flu vaccines.
Today — both the H1N1 and seasonal flu shots are being administered at the Davidson Centre in Kincardine from 3 PM to 7 PM.
Doctor McCulloch will be having a flu shot clinic today at the Doctor Earl Health Centre in Port Elgin from 6 PM to 8 PM.
Both the seasonal and the H1N1 shots will be available to all.
There is also a seasonal flu clinic only tomorrow at the Saugeen Shores Medical Building on Grey Street in Southampton from 5 PM to 7 PM.
H1N1 and seasonal flu shots will be offered tomorrow in Wiarton at Peninsula Shores District School from 4 PM to 7:30 PM.
Both the seasonal and H1N1 flu shots will be available on Wednesday at Georgian Bay Secondary School in Meaford from 4 PM to 7:30 PM.

Health officials ask residents to bring their health card and driver’s license, though the shot will still be offered if they are not present.
