People are starting to get their Christmas shopping done, or at least starting it.
And Bayshore Broadcasting News wanted to know how much you’ll be spending on shopping this year, and if it’s more or less than previous years.
Most people told us they would only be spending the same amount, or slightly less because of the recession.
A few people did say they have ended up spending more than last year though.
One man told us everyone should be spending less unless they weren’t affected by the recession.
Another woman said her friends are among the people who have to spend less, and it’s really tough for them.
Almost everyone we spoke to did agree that most people will be spending less this year.
One woman blamed that on the amount of people out of work, and another mentioned that there is just no money out there to spend on presents.
