The Saugeen Memorial Hospital Foundation “Light the Way” campaign has another $27,400 in the bank, after two weeks of the annual fundraiser.
Chair of this year’s campaign, Dr. Claire Jeffery says the goal is to raise 80 thousand dollars towards the purchase of a couple of electrocardiograms.
The ECG’s would be used in the Saugeen Memorial Hospital emergency department.
The fundraising campaign which is done primarily by mail, is expected to run until Christmas.
