Two men are now facing charges in connection with an Owen Sound home invasion earlier this month.
City police say on November 3rd, two suspects wearing masks forced their way into a west side apartment.
They threatened the occupants with a handgun, demanding drugs and cash, and made off after stealing a small quantity of the victims’ personal property.
One of the victims received minor injuries during the incident.
Police arrested a 34 year old of no fixed address at a west side residence Thursday.
A 22 year old – also of no fixed address – was then arrested Friday.
Both suspects have been remanded into custody pending a bail hearing and face charges including: Break Enter and Theft, Robbery with a Firearm, Pointing a Firearm, Forcible Confinement and Wearing a Disguise with Intent.
Owen Sound Police say this was not a random act and the general public was not in danger of being targeted.
The investigation is continuing and while no additional suspects are being sought – no firearm has yet been recovered.
