It was missing for most of the summer and nobody noticed.
However when it was returned to the front of the Tommy Holmes VC Memorian Armoury in Owen Sound recently, that is when people started asking questions.
They wanted to know what happened to the World War Two Sherman Tank.
According to a spokesperson at the Grey and Simcoe Foresters, the tank spent the summer at Canadian Forces Base Borden, getting a new paint job.
The old tank now is back in its old location, with a new coat of paint to continue standing on guard for us at the armoury.
