Three young men and an 18 year old woman face a total of 20 criminal charges after two incidents in Owen Sound.
Police were called to a motel on the east side of the city around 3:30 AM Saturday after five people broke into the hot tub and sauna area of the motel.
They caused considerable damage to get into the building, and then enjoyed the use of the hot tub before deciding to vandalise the inside.
The five suspects fled after the motel owner confronted them.
Police found three of the four men and the woman a short distance from the motel.
All were under the influence of alcohol, and one man from Owen Sound, became very hostile towards police upon his arrest.
He assaulted one of the officers and then violently kicked at the inside of the door of the police vehicle.
Neither the officer nor the accused was injured.
Owen Sound Police say this same group had entered a convenience store just before 2 AM Saturday.
One man tried to steal something, and was confronted by the clerk.
The suspect punched the clerk in the face, and one of the others spit on the clerk.
They face 20 charges and two men are being held in custody until tomorrow for a court appearance.
Owen Sound Police are still looking for the 4th man in the case.
