Bruce Power and friends have done it again.
Approximately 400 people attended Bruce Power’s Spirit of Giving Easter Seals Dinner at the CAW Family Education Centre in Port Elgin last week.
125 thousand dollars was raised for Easter Seals Ontario.
Earlier CEO and President of Bruce Power Duncan Hawthorne predicted they would raise about 100 thousand dollars — the same as last year.
The event raises money for Easter Seals Ontario and offers financial support to families of children with physical disabilities.
As Bayshore Broadcasting News told you yesterday, Bruce Power also presented a 75 thousand dollar cheque to Saugeen Shores Mayor Mike Smith for the Saugeen Shores Integrated Accessible Playground.
