More people now qualify to be in the high risk group that qualifies for the H-1-N-1 vaccine.
The province announced Wednesday that police, firefighters and correctional service workers all can get the shot.
This comes after adults over 65 that have a chronic health condition, or those over 65 who live in a long term care facility were given the green light to get the H-1-N-1 flu shot as well.
The high risk group also includes pregnant women, people under 65 with a chronic health condition, kids under 5 years old, people who care for those who can’t get the vaccine, and people living in remote areas.
