A young child escaped serious injury after being hit by a car in Walkerton.
The crash took place at Durham and Yonge Street on Thursday as Barb Marshall of Walkerton was crossing the road with her five children.
South Bruce OPP say that is when a vehicle entered the intersection and hit one of the kids.
But the child was taken to hospital to be treated for only minor injuries.
A 57 year old man from Carrick Township has been charged of careless driving.
