Police have seized almost half a million dollars in drugs from a home at Saugeen First Nation.
The raid took place Tuesday at a home on Highway 21 and involved officers from Bruce Peninsula OPP, Owen Sound Police and members of the OPP Drug Unit.
Police found a large quantity of dried cannabis marijuana worth about 470 thousand dollars.
Officers also seized money and a firearm.
Two Saugeen First Nation residents — a 31 year old man and 30 year old woman — were arrested.
They have been charged with drug production, possession for the purpose of trafficking and unsafe storage of a firearm.
