It looks like there will be a race for Warden of Grey county.
County councillors will vote by secret ballot in early December and at least two people want the position.
The latest in the race is Southgate Deputy Mayor Brian Milne.
He says it’s not a full time job, but it is a major committment of time.
Despite that, Milne says he has the time to do the job.
Owen Sound councillor Arlene Wright has already announced she is running for warden of Grey County.
Milne doesn’t see an advance to having a warden from the city, or a town in the county.
He operates a 300 acre farm with his father near Dromore.
The inaugural meeting to select the warden for 2010 in Grey County will be held December 1st in the county council chambers.
