About a hundred small and medium business owners in the Saugeen Shores and surrounding areas will be talking taxes on Tuesday.
They’re taking part in a joint tax seminar on the proposed Ontario HST, the provinicial PST and the federal GST and how it affects them.
It’s hosted by the Saugeen Shores Business Enterprise Centre in partnership with the Ontario Ministry of Revenue and the Canada Revenue Agency.
Enterprise Centre Manager and Business Consultant, Jill Roote says those in attendance will be able to ask questions about the new tax.
Roote says those in attendance will have their responsibilities for collecting and remitting the taxes clarified.
The session is being held Tuesday at 9AM inside Rotary Hall at the Plex in Port Elgin.
