You would think after 103 years you would slow down a little – but an Owen Sound resident celebrates the milestone birthday by publishing her second book.
Marion Wyllie is a resident of Lee Manor in the city but is originally from the Collingwood area.
Gingerpress is releasing her book “Blossoms on an Aged Tree” in connection with her 103rd birthday today.
Wyllie says the book is a collection of poetry and prose about her life since she turned 100 years old.
Wyllie published another book “In my nine lives” several years ago telling her life story in decades.
With a written version – then many edits – and finally a typed version – the pieces make it to the publisher.
One of her secrets – she says – of a long healthy life is her faith.
