All of Hanover’s Industry leaders are gathering this evening to exchange ideas.
Councillor Bob White says its important the town take the time to recognize local industries and the contributions they make to the community.
He adds industry retention is just as important as industry recruitment.
Tonight’s guest speaker is the CAO of Belleville who has a lot of experience in industry recruitment.
White hopes tonight’s event will provide many networking opportunities as well as the sharing of thoughts and ideas.
He says the current economy has been a real eye opener for municipalities trying to attract new industry.
White says the best way to attract new industry to town is by being able to boast a health thriving industrial sector locally.
