Grey County OPP have charged four young Meaford men in connection with a crime spree earlier this month.
There was a rash of break ins reported during the first two weeks of October in Meaford and Blue Mountains.
In Meaford, police say appliances and tools were lifted from a storage trailer at McDonald’s Furniture, a quantity of pop and coins was taken from Bill’s Valu Mart and several vehicles were entered at Reg Noble car lot.
In Blue Mountains, the Blue Mountain Lodge was entered and a number of bar fridges and microwaves were stolen while a storage area at UPI gas in Thornbury was entered and a quantity of oil taken.
Three 18 year old men and a 20 year old man — all from Meaford — face a long list of charges related to breaking and entering, theft and possession of stolen property.
