The Partners in Process Equine Learning Centre near Owen Sound has received more funding.
The Ontario Trillium Foundation has announced a 36 thousand dollar grant to kick off a new youth at risk program at the centre.
The program will help youth who have experienced loss or trauma through death, illness or separation from their families.
Bruce Grey Owen Sound MPP Bill Murdoch says the program will give youth the tools to help them reach their full potential.
The Equine Assisted program uses horses as the teaching tool.
The centre also offers others workshops that range from dealing with autism to self-esteem, team building, and equine sports activities.
