A group of Dundalk area youths are starting their criminal careers early.
Grey County OPP have charged two 13 year olds from Southgate and a 12 year old from Melancthon after a vandalism spree at a commercial property on Highway 10 back in September.
Three others were also apprehended — but they’re under 12 years old and are too young to be charged.
Police say a van was seriously vandalized while a pick up truck was hotwired.
They also broke into a vacant building on the property and smashed windows and poured motor oil on the floor.
Someone saw the little darlings break in and tried to hold them until police arrived — but was unsuccesful.
The follow up investigation led to charges of break and enter as well as mischief.
Of course none of the names can be released.
