World War Two veterans will be honoured in Owen Sound tonight.
The Billy Bishop Home and Museum will unveil this year’s honouree’s for its “Honouring Our Local Veterans” display.
This is the 9th annual event and nine people will be honoured tonight.
The honouree’s are Bob Alexander, Frank Ball, Eldred Crawford, Andrew Haggins, Alec McMillan, Vee Baskerville, Bill Furness, Murray Jolley and Murray Slumskie.
The ceremony — which begins at 7 PM — will include a plaque unveiling and a chance for people to speak with veterans and their families about their experiences.
