Brockton Mayor Charlie Bagnato is getting a haircut.
He’s had a ponytail for 20 years, but today — he’s having it cut off as part of the Cops for Cancer fundraiser.
The cut will take place at 1 PM at the Walkerton legion — and Bagnato says he might get someone to start by just chopping the ponytail.
Bagnato admits he’s a bit nervous.
Bagnato He says he’s heard there are maybe a few people around town who would want to take out some fun vengeance on their mayor too.
Bagnato says he has raised at least a thousand dollars so far for the Canadian Cancer Society.
But he adds he has pledge sheets placed at a few locations around town and quite a few donations have already poured in.
