South Bruce Peninsula Council meets today to talk about how to proceed with hiring a new Chief Administrative Officer.
Mayor Gwen Gilbert says they were planning to discuss it at last Tuesday’s Committee of the Whole meeting, but they ran out of time.
She says they plan to hold a closed session before today’s Council meeting and will decide then how to proceed.
Gilbert says no advertising for the position has taken place yet.
Council suddenly relieved former CAO Malcolm McIntosh of his duties on September 30th — and Clerk Rhonda Cook was appointed Acting CAO.
No details are being released surrounding McIntosh’s dismissal.
