Grey Bruce Health Services has received its latest corporate indicator report.
President and CEO Maureen Solecki says it’s a “dashboard” of performance indicators that the board looks at that include finances and patient care.
She says it’s used to see if Grey-Bruce hospitals are performing ahead or behind benchmarks on targeted wait times for things like MRI’s, and CT scans.
Solecki is happy to report that Grey Bruce Health Services is below both the provincial and South West LHIN benchmarks for CT and MRI wait times.
According to the Ministry of Health website, the average wait for an MRI at Grey-Bruce Health Services is 63 days and the provincial average is 105.
The provincial target for MRI waiting is 28 days.
The website says the average wait for a CT scan at Grey-Bruce Health Services is 27 days, compared to the provincial average of 49.
The provincial target is 28 days, putting the local hospital agency slightly below it as well.
