One Owen Sound Police officer was injured after he was involved in a foot chase after a suspect in a criminal harrasment case.
The pursuit began early Monday morning in the 400 block of 7th Avenue East after Police received a frantic call from a woman.
She was concerned because her ex-husband had was outside her door and appeared to have no intention to leave.
Moments after police arrival the man exited the building and fled on foot, attempting to evade arrest.
After a short foot pursuit the man was arrested by police.
He is charged with one count of criminal harassment.
One officer was injured during the chase and attended hospital.
The veteran officer was treated and released a short time later.
