The Beaver Valley 180 kilometre bike ride is on today.
In support of Special Olympics, the Law Enforcement torch run event begins in Oakville at 7 AM and runs through several communities including Burlington, Fergus and Flesherton.
It wraps up at the Beaver Valley ski club tomorrow afternoon.
The 180 kilometre Bike ride will see officers escort riders on the route, providing security and safety for both those riders and the general public.
The Beaver Valley 180 km bike ride is a community based event that started in 2001.
It has raised money for several charities over the years and Special Olympics was chosen as the beneficiary this year.
