A 73 year old man is now charged in a fatal crash on the Sunset Strip just west of Owen Sound.
53 year old Lynda Lyster of the Tara area was killed in Wednesday afternoon’s three vehicle crash.
Grey County OPP say Lyster was attempting to make a left hand turn into a business when she was rear ended by a pick up truck.
The force of that collision pushed Lyster’s car into oncoming traffic where it was hit by another car.
OPP say after their investigation they have charged the driver of the pick up.
73 year old Brian Caldwell of Georgian Bluffs has been charged with
the Highway Traffic Act offence of Careless Driving.
He is scheduled to appear in Owen Sound Court on June 14th.
Caldwell was not hurt in the crash while an elderly couple from Tara was treated and released from Owen Sound hospital.
