Bruce Grey Owen Sound MPP Bill Murdoch is surprised at the sudden resignation of Heath Minister David Caplan.
He is amazed that Caplan held on for so long as the eHealth scandal grew.
Murdoch says however he believes the Health Minister is just the fall guy for bad decisions made by the entire cabinet including the Premier.
He says in fact George Smitherman was the Health Minister when this whole effort to convert to electronic records began.
Murdoch says the responsibility for the whole mess at eHealth goes right to the Premier’s office and Dalton McGuinty should be taking responsibility for this whole affair.
He says that is where the buck should stop.
