Grey County OPP will not be laying any charges in connection with a single vehicle crash east of Owen Sound.
As we reported — an officer attempted to pull over a van that was being driven erratically through Meaford Sunday morning.
The van continued driving out of town and along Highway 26 towards Owen Sound at at excessive speed and refused to pull over to the side despite the cruiser’s flashing lights.
Eventually the vehicle left the road and hit a pole near concession 6 causing extensive damage.
A 78 year old man was admitted to hospital for observation.
Police have determined his actions were the result of a medical complication and no charges will laid.
