A big change in Staffing for South Bruce Peninsula.
CAO Malcolm McIntosh has been relieved of his duties, effective immediately.
South Bruce Peninsula council met in a special session on Wednesday morning and discussed the CAO position in-camera.
Council came out of the closed meeting to announce McIntosh has been “let go” without cause.
The Clerk, Rhonda Cook, has been appointed acting CAO for South Bruce Peninsula.
Cook declined to comment on the move by council to remove the CAO.
McIntosh came to the town in 2006 after he was CAO in West Grey.
No word on what issue sparked the move to remove McIntosh and replace him temporarily with Cook.
