One local manufacturer is beginning to recall workers laid off earlier this year when the recession hit.
Between November of last year and January of this year, MacLean Engineering laid off approximately 100 workers at its plants in Owen Sound and Collingwood.
Some of those workers are now being called back- although company officials aren’t saying yet just how many will get their jobs back.
MacLean Engineering makes mining equipment used all over the world.
