Two people have been killed in a two vehicle crash just outside Wasaga Beach.
Huronia West OPP are investigating a crash where a mini van and a car collided at the intersection of County Road 10 and concession 12 Sunnidale around 10:15 AM Sunday.
A passenger in a minivan — 70 year old Annunziata DiCamillo of Wasaga Beach — was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the minivan — 82 year old Pasquale DiCamillo of Wasaga Beach — was airlifted to Saint Michael’s Hospital and later died.
The driver of the car — a 33 year old man from Wasaga Beach is in Collingwood hospital — with serious but not life threatening injuries.
The Central Region Technical Traffic Collision Unit is also investigating the crash.
Police had the intersection closed for seven hours as part of the investigation.
It is now open.
