Be on the lookout for 18 “world-changing” cyclists making stops in Owen Sound, Port Elgin, Kincardine, Wingham, Lucknow and Goderich.
As part of the Otesha Project Charity, the cyclists are doing the “Great Lakes Tour” spreading the word of sustainability and smart consumer choices.
Tanis Vandermolen says at each stop they will hopefully be performing a theatrical play on sustainability and hope.
She says they have not yet confirmed a venue to perform at all of their stops, but hope the message get’s out that they’re coming to town.
Vandermolen says Otesha — which means “reason to dream” in Swahili — was created to mobilize youth to create local and global change through their daily consumer choices.
The cyclists started their tour on September 7th from Ottawa heading south toward Toronto on their two month adventure of cycling, performing and world-changing.
